As part of the ongoing celebrations for HM King Vajiralongkorn’s coronation, come and enjoy the Royal Barge Procession at Chakrabongse Villas, when 52 barges and 2,300 oarsmen will escort His Majesty on the river in an ancient Kathin ceremony when new robes are presented to Buddhist monks. See the exquisite boats and enjoy Thai snacks and herbal drinks in the beautiful gardens on the Chao Phraya.
Although not all of the procession will pass by many of the boats turn in front of the villas and wide screen TVs will show every detail.
Price of tickets: 1,500 baht with snacks and herbals drinks throughout from 2-4 pm. Only 50 places available.
